What We Know About the 2016 Mazda CX-9
We’ve already discussed the 2016 CX-9 quite a bit to prepare for its release, but let’s recap everything we know about the model so far.
One of the biggest changes to the new model is a brand new turbocharged SKYACTIV engine. This engine is expected to boost fuel economy while also delivering up to 310 lb-ft of torque, which is pretty impressive. This engine also features Mazda’s Dynamic Pressure Turbo system, helping to overcome issues with turbo lag.

The new model fully adopts Mazda’s KODO design DNA, fitting in with the rest of the Mazda lineup to give the CX-9 a look of athletic elegance. AGH! You’re killing me! Remember the CX-7 that NO ONE WOULD BUY because no one wanted a turbo in their SUV. MAZDA are your brains made out of wood!??
You have one of the LEAST popular SUVs in this segment regardless of the great reviews. You are giving away a $4000 rebate just to TRY and move these things!
I personally,LOVE the 2015 CX-9, though I would have liked 2nd row captains chairs as an option!
It is great handling, though BARELY adequately powered to be worthy of the ZOOMZOOM title. Now you are going to do this stupid Turbo 4 cylinder?? When gasoline is 1.50 a gallon??
Don’t even try to lay this load of BS on us that you need to have high gas mileage for some reason…FORD’s EXPLORER has a TWIN TURBO V6 that gets really poor gas mileage compared to the CX-9 and I don’t hear them whining about how the low gas mileage is going to effect their situation.
MAN UP MAZDA! I want a strong leader for my president and I want a strong RELIABLE engine in my SUV. Quit trying to be so politically correct!
You are so awesome for helping me solve this myesyrt.

Heh … have you checked into the contents of Harper’s crime legislation package? He’s giving the authorities the power to, without court oversight, get into your private internet conversations, follow them in real time, and requiring ISP’s to rejig their networks to make this possible. You have precious little privacy now and what little you [may think you] have is quickly being eroded by a “strong, stable, Conservative government”.VA:F [1.9.20_1166]please wait…(1 vote cast)VA:F [1.9.20_1166](from 1 vote)
