What to Watch on Netflix

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
This show has seven full seasons for you to feast on this fall. The series follows a 16 year old girl named Buffy Summers who just happens to be a vampire slayer. She is destined to slay vampires, demons and other terrifying creatures with the help of her friends. While the visual effects may seem cheesy now, this show can still hold it’s own. It has witty dialogue, unique characters and even a musical episode. Whether you watched it the first time around or you’re a Buffy newbie, this is the perfect series to watch this Halloween.
Twin Peaks
This is another oldie but goodie. It first aired in the early 90s and only lasted for two seasons, but it is the perfect length to start and finish this October. It follows the investigation of the murder of a young woman in the small seemingly normal town of Twin Peaks. an FBI Agent comes to town to investigate the murder and things aren’t as simple as they seem. This show has a unique sense of terror that comes from silence and not knowing instead of showy and elaborate bad guys. It shows that even the brightest of places can have darknesses hidden in it.
