Think Pink Floyd in New Jersey
Local residents looking for a night of nostalgia may consider the upcoming Think Pink Floyd concert at the Bergen Performing Arts Center. Think Pink Floyd is an acclaimed tribute band that covers much of the music recorded by legendary rock outfit Pink Floyd.
Think Pink Floyd will be performing at the Bergen PAC in Englewood on Saturday, February 8 at 8:00 p.m. Music fans expecting a traditional concert atmosphere, however, will find nothing of the sort when Think Pink Floyd hits the stage.
Think Pink Floyd describes their effort as a true replication of a Pink Floyd concert. Of course, Pink Floyd is recognized as revolutionizing the concert experience through the use of highly engaging lights, props, and special effects. The same feel is achieved at a Think Pink Floyd performance. Each concert includes a light show, video show, and many props familiar to those who experienced the original band in-person.
As far as music is concerned, Think Pink Floyd can do it all. The tribute band covers songs that range from Pink Floyd’s late 1960s origins to the 1994 album “The Division Bell.” Of course, that includes all the classics from “Dark Side of the Moon,” “Animals,” and “The Wall.”
With more than 250 million records sold worldwide and a 1996 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, the music of Pink Floyd has a legacy all its own. Though the band has discontinued making music as a group, the legacy of life changing live experiences lives on through tribute artists like Think Pink Floyd.
