Summer Farmers Markets in Bergen County NJ
Now that summer is finally here, many residents around North Jersey will be looking to spend part of their weekends during this warm season at farmers markets. If you’re looking for some of the best summer farmers markets in Bergen County NJ, then you’re in the right place. We’ve compiled a few of our favorites for you and listed them down below. Paramus Farmers Market
Though Wednesday may not be the most convenient time for you to visit the farmers market, the one in Paramus does have hours from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Wednesday each week, meaning you can easily visit after work. The start for this year (2016) is June 15, and the market will continue on Wednesdays into October at the north parking lot in Petruska Park.
Teaneck Farmers Market
Another market that takes place during the week is the one in Teaneck NJ. It happens on each Thursday into October. This year’s hours are from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Garrison Avenue and Beverly Road municipal parking lot. Though you might not be able to make it there after work, it’s a great option for those with the day off.
Oakland Giant Farmers Market
Farmers markets can be a lot of fun, but they may not always be so pleasant when inclement weather hits. For those days, it might be a good idea to check out the indoor farmers market in Oakland NJ, located in the Copper Tree Shopping Mall. Because it’s indoors, it takes place all year. Plus, it has a wide range of hours from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Ridgewood Farmers Market
The last market we’ll share here is the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce Farmers Market, which takes place on Sunday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The market runs through October and starts on June 26 this year. You’ll be able to find it at the train station parking lot at Godwin Avenue and W. Ridgewood Avenue.
