Northern New Jersey Easter Egg Hunt
“All-inclusive” is a term that vacationers know and love. Not only does it indicate that meals and beverages will be taken care of for the length of a trip, but it guarantees that everything you need for a good time is available at the drop of a hat.
There is a sense in which the term all-inclusive can imply to more than just a destination vacation, however. Take Ridgewood’s Easter in the Park for example. The annual event coordinated by the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce includes all that one could ask for in a northern New Jersey Easter egg hunt. In this way, Easter in the Park is an all-inclusive form of family entertainment—and a great way to kick off your Easter weekend festivities.
Ridgewood’s 2014 northern New Jersey Easter egg hunt takes place at Memorial Park on Saturday, April 19.In the same way that every good day starts off with a satisfying breakfast, so too does Easter weekend in Ridgewood. Starting at 9:00 that Saturday morning, families can enjoy breakfast with the Easter Bunny at The Office, a local restaurant and grill. Reservations are required for that portion of the day’s activities, and spots can be reserved by calling the restaurant at 201-652-1070.
Starting at 11:00 a.m., the Easter egg hunt sponsored by Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream begins at Memorial Park. No tickets are required—children are simply encouraged to bring their own baskets to collect all of the eggs hidden around the area. The Easter Bunny will join the party after breakfast as well, posing with kids at the event’s photo tent.
Yet the all-inclusive northern New Jersey Easter egg hunt would not be complete without some community involvement. In addition to the magic shows and face painting opportunities at Memorial Park, families will also receive a map that highlights area businesses who participate in the fun with contests and prizes.
