All 2019 Mazda CX-9 models are fitted with a 250-hp, SKYACTIV®-G 2.5-liter engine that is paired to a SKYACTIV®-DRIVE automatic transmission. All trim levels of the 2019 Mazda CX-9 Sport, Touring and Grand Touring models offer the choice between FWD or AWD configuration. Mazda CX-9 Signature models are only available with the i-ACTIV AWD® all-wheel drive system.

When equipped with FWD, the 2019 Mazda CX-9 offers drivers an EPA-estimated 22 city and 28 highway miles per gallon, while models featuring the i-ACTIV AWD® all-wheel-drive system offer an EPA-estimated 20 city and 26 highway miles per gallon.
