Adaptive Headlights
Driving in the dark can be dangerous even with bright headlights. There are two very different hazards when it comes to night time driving. First of all, it can be too dark and you might not be able to see curves in the road or debris or an animal in your path. That’s why car manufacturers created high beams, but these too can cause problems. Other drivers coming the opposite direction can become blinded by your lights and can be just as dangerous. To help combat this danger, Mazda is developing adaptive headlights that will auto dim when cars approach. Read the rest of this entry
