How Many Devices Can You Pair With Mazda Bluetooth?
The Bluetooth feature in your Mazda is a great way to safely stay connected while on the road. Once drivers figure out how to pair their phone with the vehicle, they often wonder how many devices can you pair with Mazda Bluetooth? After all, multiple drivers or passengers may want to have their device connected at one time. If you’ve been wondering the same thing, here is what you need to know.
Under the current Mazda Connect infotainment system, it is possible to pair up to 7 devices through Bluetooth. This would likely allow you to pair the cell phone for everyone in the family, or maybe even some tablets for the kids on long car rides.
With that said, it’s important to note that although 7 devices can be saved as a paired device through Mazda Bluetooth, only 2 unique devices can be connect to the Bluetooth at one time. That means even if you’ve paired up to 7 devices through your vehicle’s Bluetooth, if you’re in the car and wish to connect to or control a device, you will only be able to do so with 2 of them: one for hands-free use and another for use with Bluetooth audio.

One of the main reasons drivers end up wondering how many devices they can pair through Mazda Bluetooth is that they’re struggling to get a certain device connected. If you’re under the limited number we just talked about, then you may want to see if your phone is compatible with the system.

Good info! My question is, can I pair both of my cell phones (work and personal) and use them both at the same time (making/receiving calls)? Or, at least, is there a way to switch back and forth when needing to make calls/use phone book from a specific device?
They both happen to be Samsung S6 devices through Verizon. Any info on this would be much appreciated!
