How Fuel Efficient is the 2018 Mazda6?
The base engine of the 2018 Mazda6 is the famous SKYACTIV-G 2.5 engine. The SKYACTIV-G engine offers drivers an EPA-estimated 26 city and 35 highway miles per gallon – that measures out to an EPA-estimated 29 miles per gallon. In addition to efficiency, the SKYACTIV-G engine also boasts 184 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque.
The new 2018 Mazda6 also offers a new turbocharged engine. And while the new engine gives drivers more power and performance (250 horsepower and an amazing 310 pound-feet of torque), it has also been optimized for fuel efficiency, offering an EPA-estimated 23 city and 31 highway miles per gallon, equalling 26 combine miles per gallon.
