2016 Oktoberfest Events North Jersey
Believe it or not, autumn is just about here. Although fall ushers in the cold weather of winter, there are many things about the season to enjoy, including Oktoberfest. Whether you call it Oktoberfest with a K or Octoberfest with a C, we have a list of 2016 Oktoberfest events in North Jersey for you to check out this year. OLL Oktoberfest
OLL stands for Our Lady of the Lake, a parish in Verona NJÂ hosting an Oktoberfest celebration on Oct. 8 from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. The event will feature a wide variety of German food, music entertainment, and of course, beer. Those who attend must be 21 years of age or older, so once you get your tickets be sure to have your ID.
Oktoberfest 2016 in Hoboken
Join Saints Peter and Paul Hoboken from Sept. 23 through Sept. 24 for a celebration of German heritage. You’ll find German beer and food, as well as live music and even a kids village. On top of that, there will be a 50/50 raffle, with the grand prize winner receiving 25% of the gross. It’s an Oktoberfest event you won’t want to miss.
Oktoberfest Craft Show
This Oktoberfest is a little different. The Craft Show at Oktoberfest features up to 75 crafters putting their items up for sale. The Oktoberfest part of it is the inclusion of German music and food. The event takes place Oct. 8 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. in Demarest near 38 Park St. You’ll also want to be sure to visit the Demarest Nature Center while there.
Leonia Oktoberfest
The Leonia Oktoberfest is in, of course, Leonia and is put on by the Rotary Club of The Palisades. It happens on Oct. 1, 2016 from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m. at the American Legion Hall. Children are free and adult tickets are only $5. While there, you’ll enjoy delicious food, beer and music performed by Breitenbach.
