2016 Mazda Drive for Good Campaign
Believe it or not. Christmas is just a couple months away. Therefore, now is the time to start preparing for the season. Right now is also the time for Mazda to start up its 2016 Drive for Good Campaign, now entering its third year in a row.
The Drive for Good campaign is an effort by Mazda North American Operations and NBCUniversal to give back to a person who is a huge difference-maker in their community, but who also might not receive widespread attention currently. This season, the Drive for Good campaign will be choosing someone involved in a nonprofit and donating $30,000 to that organization.
How to Enter the Drive for Good Contest
If you, or someone you know, is involved with an organization that could be deserving of such a donation, you have the opportunity to make a submission. Submissions are being accepted until Oct. 24, 2016. Just click the link below to do so.
The winning submission will be presented with the donation, but the cool thing is, they won’t know about it. Instead, it will be presented to them as a surprise by a talent from NBCUniversal. The winner will also be attending Christmas in Rockefeller Center on Nov. 30, 2016. Last year’s winner was the Confetti Foundation, which works to surprise hospitalized children with a birthday celebration in a box.
How Can You Get Involved With Drive for Good 2016?
If you’d like to get involved, there are a few things you can do. One is to make a submission through the link above. But there are other ways as well.
For example, every time a new Mazda is purchased or leased between Nov. 21, 2016 and Jan. 3, 2017, Mazda will make a donation of $150. Every time someone takes a test drive during that same time period, an hour of charitable service will be donated.
The 2016 Mazda Drive for Good campaign is a great way for everyone to get involved in giving back to their communities this holiday season. If you’d like to stay updated on everything else Mazda is doing, be sure to check back to the Mazda of Lodi blog.
