If your dad is an aviation enthusiast or is simply interested, consider taking him to Open Cockpit Weekend, taking place at The Aviation Hall of Fame of New jersey in Teterboro. It’s also a great idea for those with young children. The event will take place both Saturday and Sunday of Father’s Day weekend from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and will give visitors the chance to get up close and personal with aircraft.
Father’s Day Brunch or Dinner in Bergen County NJ
Another great idea is to skip the hassle of grilling and instead take dad out to a delicious meal, whether it be brunch or dinner. Though there will certainly be many options available to you, let us recommend a couple. Consider the Father’s Day brunch at Bibi’z Restaurant & Lounge at a cost of $39 for adults, which includes a complimentary beer, glass of wine, bloody Mary or mimosa for your dad. Westwood Dad’s Dash 5K and Family Walk
If your dad is the active type, consider participating in the Westwood Dad’s Dash with him. The event will be on Father’s Day and his held in memory of U.S. Marine Sgt. Christopher Hrbeck at Westvale Park. The 5K begins at 8:45 a.m. and the 1 mile family walk, if you choose to participate, is at 10 a.m.
Teaneck New Theatre and The Hackensack Cultural Arts Center Production
For dad’s who enjoy the theater, consider taking him to a production of Neil Simon’s Last of the Red Hot Lovers. The event is presented by the Teaneck New Theatre and The Hackensack Cultural Arts Center. You can either attend the Saturday showing at 8 p.m. or the Sunday showing at 3 p.m.
