2016.5 Mazda CX-5 Features and Pricing
Mazda has revealed some changes to the CX-5 compact SUV model in the form of a half model-year designation. That’s right, Mazda has released details on the 2016.5 Mazda CX-5 features and pricing, designed to add more value to the model, as well as make it easier for buyers to navigate the trim level structure and find the features they want.
2016.5 Mazda CX-5 Features and Changes
There are no drastic changes to this reorganized CX-5 model, but there some differences you’ll want to be aware of. For one, a rearview backup camera is now standard on all six-speed automatic transmission models, whereas it used to be a part of the Rear View Camera Package for the Sport trim.
For the Touring trim, standard navigation and heated front seats have also been added. Furthermore, the top level Grand Touring trim also adds the navigation system to the list of standard equipment features. No changes have been made to the engine options, as the standard manual transmission model has a 2.0-liter SKYACTIV and all other models feature a 2.5-liter SKYACTIV. All trim levels will come with front-wheel drive and available i-ACTIV all-wheel drive.
