Mazda is a company that cares about making a difference. This season, they’re putting both their money and their time into that commitment with The Mazda Drive for Good Event. It’s an excellent way for new car buyers – or even those of you who are just shopping around – to help others this during the holidays this year. How does it work? We’ll let you know right here!Â
The biggest way you can participate is by buying or leasing a new Mazda between November 25th 2013 and January 2, 2014. Every purchase or lease means Mazda will donate $100 to one of four great causes. And the best part? You get to to choose the cause you want your purchase to help support. Here they are (in alphabetical order):
American Heart Association – This organization supports research and health policies as well as providing useful information and tools to help people prevent and treat heart disease and stroke in America.
American Red Cross – The Red Cross helps disaster victims, collects and supplies about 40% of the nation’s blood, supports members of the military, provides international aid, and much more.
Mazda Foundation: The Mazda Foundation supports worthwhile causes throughout the United States like hospitals, food banks, scholarships, aid groups, and other great programs.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital: St. Jude is a well-known organization that works to research childhood cancer and other deadly diseases to improve the conditions and provide treatments for children facing these diseases worldwide.
After you make your purchase, just visit the Drive for Good site here to choose the charity you’d like Mazda to donate to for your purchase.
Even if you’re not in the market for a new vehicle, there’s still a way to help! That’s right – all you have to do is test-drive a new Mazda this season, and Mazda employees will donate an hour of volunteer time to local organizations.
At Mazda of Lodi, we’re proud to offer fantastic vehicles at great prices for you and your family, and we’re lucky to have that pride multiplied when Mazda shows its true colors as a company that cares and wants to help people contribute. We wish everyone a safe and peaceful season.
