Putting two great things to make something even better is what makes the ultimate partnership. This year, Mazda is teaming up with a CBS television network special called Fashion Rocks. This event is a two-hour show that brings together music and fashion. The biggest names in music will be performing and the hottest fashion trends will be walking the runway. The event will be an exciting way to see what’s new in pop culture and also a way to see just how much music and fashion influence each other.
The 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata will be revealed in correlation with Fashion Rocks.
Fashion Rocks will air on CBS on September 9th 9/8c and will feature appearances by Afrojack, Duran Duran, Jennifer Lopez, Kiss, Miranda Lambert, Pitbull, and Usher. The show will be live from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY and will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest. It will be taking place during New York fashion week so all the top designers will also be in attendance. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
Right now Mazda is also planning on revealing the highly anticipated 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata roadster with a surprise Fashion Rocks artist on Sept. 3 in Monterey, California. Mazda has chosen to make the big reveal to consumers instead of the traditional auto show introduction. The Fashion Rocks show will have the new Miata on display during the broadcast. Mazda will also launch a co-branded TV and digital ads plus exclusive custom videos for social media.
