How to Move or Adjust the 2016 Mazda Miata Front Cup Holder
Situated on the rear console is the rear cup holder, which is on the driver’s side of the vehicle. This cup holder cannot be moved further forward, but the cup holder on the passenger side can be moved toward the front of the car or the rear.
The passenger side cup holder can be placed further toward the front of the vehicle, nearer to the shift knob, or at the rear console next to the driver’s side cup holder. As you likely know, the Miata is a small car, so having the versatility to adjust where you or your passenger puts their beverage is a big benefit.
If you want to move the cup holder to place it at the front or rear, be sure to grip it with both hands before pulling it out of its slot. To install it in a either one of the positions, make sure you insert it all the way into the slot and check to ensure it is secure.
