2017 Mazda CX-5 Passenger Space

The 2017 CX-5 features a driver-centric cabin, but also focuses on all controls within the vehicle to be within easy reach of passengers. An available Active Driving Display sits in your line of sight, and a Commander control knob is at your fingertips, showing the thoughtfulness in the design. The seats have been designed with more depth, allowing you to sink comfortably into your seat, and a blend of natural wood and metal in the cabin creates a tough-yet-warm feel in the cabin.

The CX-5 seats five passengers, and maintains its maximum cargo capacity of 64.8 cubic-feet as in the previous model. Buyers can choose from three interior fabric options, including pure white or black leather, and black fabric. Depending on the fabric color, colors are blended with the body of the CX-5 to ensure a smooth, luxurious appearance.

2017 Mazda CX-5 Technology

The CX-5 comes with Mazda Connect, a connectivity system that allows you to connect your vehicle with your smartphone or other mobile device to work with the internet, social networking services and more. It also offers audio functions and hands-free phone operation. There is a 7-inch display that is mounted at the top of the dashboard to give the driver better access to to it.

A quieter cabin means there is more ability for clarity with the audio system. The audio system in the CX-5 is optimally tuned to match the characteristics of the vehicle for clearer sound. It features sound output close to the ears to make the sound more natural and easier for passengers to hear. A 10-speaker Bose® premium sound system is also available on the 2017 CX-5.
