2016 Mazda CX-3 Release Date
A full size SUV is great for drivers who need bus-like seating and storage capabilities, a sedan isn’t necessarily everybody’s taste. The ideal in-between that has quickly taken off in the States is a compact, or subcompact crossover SUV. Mazda has created the perfect solution that still maintains the sporty appearance, attitude, and performance.
An actual day of the month has not yet been given this far out, but we do know that the 2016 Mazda CX-3 release date is set for the spring of 2015. Seeing as Mazda is a Japanese automaker, the launch will begin there on its home turf before crossing over to the U.S.
The primary goal of the Mazda CX-3 is to give drivers who like the qualities of a car, a little more room, cargo space, and the flexibility found within sports utility vehicles. Able to handle city streets, excel on highways, and manage rougher terrain, the compact Mazda CX-3 quickly has become an all-around vehicle.
Powertrain:
One of the few to offer a diesel option, Mazda provides the SKYACTIV-D 1.5 liter clean diesel as well as the SKYACTIV-G 2.0-liter gas engine. Mazda also has introduced its new-generation AWD system, but front-wheel drive will be standard across the models.
Driving Dynamics:
What sets Mazda vehicles apart, not just the cars, but the SUVs as well, are the way that they handle. When behind the wheel of the Mazda CX-3, the ride is responsive and feels sporty because of the suspension tuning and the throttle response. Drivers who are looking for a more engaging experience, one that isn’t a boring daily drive where you arrive at your destination without remembering how you got there.
The Mazda CX-3 fits in nicely within the Mazda lineup, following behind its two larger SUV siblings, the compact CX-5 and the midsize CX-9. As more information becomes available, we will continue to keep you updated; until then, we would like to welcome you here to Mazda of Lodi where you are free to test drive any of the Mazda vehicles we currently have available to get a better feel for what the responsive and sporty handling is like in a Mazda.
